Organic Olive Oil from The Heart of Italy
Not all extra-virgin olive oil is the same. The best oil comes from hand-picked, single-estate olives, freshly pressed, bottled and sold whilst the piquant flavours and green color are still present. Only small producers can guarantee a product as fresh and authentic as this.
Fresh and pure - the taste of Italy, in a bottle
Located north of Rome, touching the borders of Tuscany and Umbria, the Sabina Hills have been producing fine olive oil for thousands of years. The cool winters and hot, dry summers provide an ideal climate for olives. In recognition of the high quality of the Sabina's region's olive oil it was the first in Italy to receive the 'D.O.P.' quality mark, similar to the D.O.C. designation for wines. This means that the oil conforms to the quality and taste standards typical of a particular area.
One hundred percent organic goodness
Olive trees grown at altitude are less susceptible to disease and infection. For this reason, we don't spray or chemically fertilise our trees in the way that growers in coastal areas do. The result is a smaller but more delicious crop of olives.
